Protein Pancakes


PROTEIN PANCAKES

Sometimes I'm just craving MORE. After a long week or a heavy workout my body (or maybe just my mind, but we'll go with body) needs more than solely fruits and veggies.

I consider these protein pancakes to be my "hearty meal" because they're a good source of carbs, natural sugars, and protein.

Here's what you'll need:


-Pancake Mix
-Egg White Protein Powder
-Berries
-Sunflower Seed Butter
-Pumpkin Seeds
-Syrup (optional)

As if this meal wasn't great enough already, it's easy to make too. Just mix in a scoop of you desired protein (I use Pure Egg White Protein Powder from Trader Joe's) into you pancake mix and add water.

After you cook your protein cakes, spread sunflower seed butter over the top for some additional natural protein, and throw on pumpkin seeds and berries.

If your sweet-tooth is too much to handle, drizzle maple syrup on for some extra flavor.
